Why We Grade and Compact Before We Ever Set a Paver

Our approach is to excavate deeper than the finished surface requires, compact a gravel base in layers, and slope everything slightly away from your home so water doesn't pool against a foundation or wall. That groundwork is the part nobody sees, and it's the part that determines whether the project lasts.
